Visitors can also take advantage of free architectural consultations and 3D bathroom design services.
Slovenian Woodworking Day at the HOME Fair
This year, the HOME Fair will place special emphasis on wood as a sustainable and versatile construction material. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore innovative applications of wood in furniture and construction through a variety of exhibitions, including the Agio Design Furniture Exhibition, the Slowoodlife Living with Wood exhibition, as well as showcases by Mizarstvo Kos, Hardstuff Furniture, and the Secondary School of Woodworking ŠC Škofja Loka.
In addition to these exhibitions, the fair will host the premier professional event for the Slovenian woodworking industry – the 2025 Slovenian Woodworking Days, organized by SPIRIT Slovenia and the Ministry of Economy, Tourism, and Sport. Taking place on Thursday, March 6, 2025, this event will highlight key market trends, innovations in the woodworking industry, and the challenges of dual transition and resilience.
The Quality in Construction Mark – A Guarantee of Sustainable and Innovative Solutions
The HOME Fair has a long-standing tradition of recognizing excellence in construction. Each year, the fair awards the Quality in Construction Mark (ZKG), Slovenia’s unique certification that guarantees the highest professional and sustainability standards in the industry. The award is presented by an independent expert committee from the Building and Civil Engineering Institute ZRMK, which evaluates the technical, environmental, social, and economic aspects of products, services, devices, and systems. To date, more than 160 innovative and sustainable solutions have received this prestigious recognition for enhancing quality of life. The official award ceremony for this year’s recipients will take place during the grand opening of HOME Fair 2025.
